“I’m on tonight, you know my hips don’t lie…”
Hello my loves!
SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!!! Monday was such a gorgeous day, driving with the windows open and the radio up! Quite amazing!!!!
After the great avocado hair dye debacle, I had to buzz some hair off last night. It was so freaking itchy, and I was afraid I was starting to react again. Bye bye red hair.
I’m still sleeping with my Epi-pen close by. Just in case.
Both my cardiologist and pulmonologist have told me that even though the damage that’s already done to my lungs can’t be undone, exercising will help with my stamina. So back at the new year, Brie and I joined our local YMCA.
We’ve been going a few times a week, and mostly just walk the treadmills and go in the pool. Swimming is really good for my joints, and helps alleviate some of my pain.
I haven’t ventured from the treadmill or the pool, so when Brie mentioned a Zumba class was starting, and members could go for free, I was really hesitant.
But, it was free, and if I had to sit down and rest, I had to sit down and rest.
Last night was the first class.
Holy shit. I haven’t sweat like that since 2003.
At one point, the instructor said, “Are you OK?” and I’m certain the class thought she was talking to the 75+ year old man behind me.
She was talking to me.
